  • Birthdays, Cousins, And Fountains Oh My…

As I said, Halloween was my birthday, and I got taken out to the
marvelous Esca, a Mario Batali owned eatery that specializes in fish.

The service is slow and snobby, but they made me a special desert and that was nice.

And I got totally hooked up with the presents: the complete run of the
New Yorker (that’s right, the whole shebang, 1925 until now on 8 DVDs)
and my sister surprised me with some PSP action, which might just make
me a video game junkie yet again.

A few days later my Cousin/Landlord Stickney convinced me to go out to
dinner with him and my cousin Gaby, who I have never really met. My dad
had a slight falling out with his brother, so there’s this whole branch
of the Stephens that are a mystery to me. And even though I had pinched
a nerve and didn’t feel like going out, im glad I did finally have a
    real conversation with my cousin.

And soon after my birthday, came Jenna’s, on November the fourh. It
took me a while to think of a good gift, but I finally decided upon a
digital camera. Thus, the first picture.

We got her cupcakes at work.

And Pat turned the big three oh the next day. So many scorpios.

Jenna’s crazy friends took her out later that night, and I’ll spare you the ANTM videos they shot.

Work also had a non birthday party, and we took a red picture.

Then we chilled it on Columbia on Saturday,

And we randomly had a Bomba sighting, with thespian girlfriend Laura (I think that’s her name).

And you can’t end a week without a fountain shot at Lincoln Plaza.

I guess everyone just keeps getting older, right?

  • Imitation Art And Loving It...

I have not been able to stop these days, so here it is, my overdrawing portraits:

    Me (just can't get enough)

My Brothers Luis Jose and Tommy.

    My Sisters Phoebe and Caitlin.

    My Dad.

    My Landlord Uncle Stickney.

One big happy family. Don't worry, more coming, they are fucking addictive.

  • Tweny-Five Trips Around The Sun...

25 years and nine months ago, a fellow named Louis and a lady named Estela got it on, and now I am here.

A quarter of a century achieved by my corporeal form.

If you see me around wish me a happy one. 25 halloweens of fun.

  • 1001 Words of Woe…

So because they became popular at work, because I am a terrible amateur
artiste, and a maybe a sheep, I got myself one of them fancy stylus
    Wacoms.

    And thus created myself.

    A ball of fire.

    And a cutesy wootsy butterfly.

(these, unlike my other picts, can be clicked on for larger viewing.)

Work is intense right now, and no fun at all, art the only cure for the downtrodden spirit.

  • Cars, Office Bars, and Poker Wars…

Look at the shinning Bulls at Grand Central. How weird.

Yes, PS 260 has a new Exec Producer, so we said good bye to our old one.

    Algunos no estaban tan tristes.

Then glorious poker returned. John hosted on the 42nd floor.

And changed mid way through to a suit to be the best dressed there.

I lost thirty first, then ended up up forty with a rash of moves
against John, and calling station bravery against a bluffing Bomba.

John bounced back for up forty as well.

    Love that elevator.

Old friend from Cate, the other white Mexican, Mr Rodrigo Garza moved into town.

Once I got him liquered up I beat him in a heated 3-2 Ping Pong win.

Then the Wesleyan Ring finally came back alive as well.

Regrettably, I lost thirty here, but I did get to congratulate the married man, Orson Robosapian.

    Booya, Bitches!

  • Quick Quick Catch Up…

PS had a party which I missed most of because I cut the night away, I gorgeous David’s Bridal merchant industrial.

Then I went to SNL, which I highly recommend.

Then I wrote a really big novel.

    Which they found boring.

Thanks Zombie Rhys (those cooky anglos)

    Monday Graham Smith rocked it.

Over and out (and probably back in, if its me).

  • The Man of The Hour…

    Here is.

    The
man in the middle of an internet storm. Will it blow over? Will he
strike when the iron kindles red and firey? Will he never appear again?
    Find out soon enough?

Oh, and read the comments down one post. It seems we’re big in EuroLand as well. Hoo Ha.

    And who’s that girl anyway?

  • Yes, yes, you’re here, checking out my blog song. Sure its funny, but why don’t you stick around, have a look. Unfortunately, you probably won’t seeing as this blog is only really good for people who know me.

But, if you enjoy being a voyeur, take a little sneak peek.

For those of you who are regular visitors and don’t understand, after Rob’s Shining trailer took off, Tom’s started to as well, and I figured “what the heck” and now they are all on ifilms, mine included.

You can see for yourself. D's ifilm.

And just so we clear the record because of all this hoopla, here’s the disclaimer:

The AICE only intended the trailers to be viewed for a private audience. They had no intentions for internet audience to view them and PS 260 did not intend for these trailers to be made for promotional or monetary reasons.

Which is all true, this shit just had a life of its own, look at this search for crying outloud. Shining Blogs.

The world is just a smaller place than we ever imagined.

  • Well,

I don't want to take the credit, but Rob's winning Shining trailer (see below) is fucking blowing up, and i think it all started here. He just got a call from the Vice Prez of Production from Warner Bros. asking him what else he does. But, don't forget, Tom ? Also got an award, and you can see his film, at Tom's Scary Shizznit!

Mine's up too, check it: Hit That Ship
