  • Birthdays, Cousins, And Fountains Oh My…

As I said, Halloween was my birthday, and I got taken out to the
marvelous Esca, a Mario Batali owned eatery that specializes in fish.

The service is slow and snobby, but they made me a special desert and that was nice.

And I got totally hooked up with the presents: the complete run of the
New Yorker (that’s right, the whole shebang, 1925 until now on 8 DVDs)
and my sister surprised me with some PSP action, which might just make
me a video game junkie yet again.

A few days later my Cousin/Landlord Stickney convinced me to go out to
dinner with him and my cousin Gaby, who I have never really met. My dad
had a slight falling out with his brother, so there’s this whole branch
of the Stephens that are a mystery to me. And even though I had pinched
a nerve and didn’t feel like going out, im glad I did finally have a
    real conversation with my cousin.

And soon after my birthday, came Jenna’s, on November the fourh. It
took me a while to think of a good gift, but I finally decided upon a
digital camera. Thus, the first picture.

We got her cupcakes at work.

And Pat turned the big three oh the next day. So many scorpios.

Jenna’s crazy friends took her out later that night, and I’ll spare you the ANTM videos they shot.

Work also had a non birthday party, and we took a red picture.

Then we chilled it on Columbia on Saturday,

And we randomly had a Bomba sighting, with thespian girlfriend Laura (I think that’s her name).

And you can’t end a week without a fountain shot at Lincoln Plaza.

I guess everyone just keeps getting older, right?
