The Art Show in White Country…
Well old Johnny finally had his art show at the Greenwich Arts Council. What a sleepy little town.
A few of the peeps came to chill it reception style and support the emerging artist.
I took pictures of the entire show, but I will spare you the whole collection. No, why don’t we see the pieces through the eyes of those who came. I asked everyone to pose in front of his or her favorite canvas. This here is what came out.
Katzenbach elected the minimalist Wearing Headphones While Walking On Broadway.
Notice he too, has headphones on.
Cassens went with the splashy blue triptict Enough About You,
Which I helped name.
Mary posed like a treefrog for her choice, Treefrog.
James went with the intricate (shit, don’t remember the title).
Christine, in a very pensive mood hit up Eve.
Younger brother Dan elected Slalom (it think that’s the title).
Father, John Mclane Jr., (yes, John the younger is indeed John Fulton Mclane III) chose the unbound triptict,
The Acrobat, Sorceror, and Marylin Monroe.
Mother, Josh, and the man himself all elected the Piece de Resistance,
Whose name I also forget, but whose simplicity makes quite a statement.
Angus could not boil it down to one, so he went with two ladies:
Eve, again, and Roxanne, whose previous incarnation I loved and kinda miss.
Well, not to be outdone, I went with three favorites.
The beautifully toned Day For A Daydream, the elegant and thrice chosen Eve, rib exposed and all, and the stylishly spiraled Ten Fingers Ten Toes.
